I completed my BA in Modern and Medieval Languages (including a year studying in Tübingen, Germany) at the University of Cambridge in 2017. I then spent a year working as an in-house translator in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, before moving back to the UK in September 2018 to take the next step in my translation career as a translator at LKT.
For me, knowing I have contributed to the creation of a document that will be used by real people in a real-life context is the most rewarding part of being a translator. I especially enjoy tailoring each text to the specific target audience and finding ways of expressing the key message in an understandable and relevant way. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to further develop and hone my skills at LKT, and am excited to be part of such a supportive and dynamic team.
In my spare time, I enjoy attending Zumba classes, journaling, going on day trips, and spending lots of time with my family and friends.
