I graduated from the University of Cambridge in 2015 with a BA in Modern and Medieval Languages. During my undergraduate degree I spent a year abroad studying in Verona and also completed internships in two opera houses in Germany. I went on to work in open access science publishing, before returning to university in 2018 to study for a Masters in Translation and Interpreting Studies at the University of Manchester. I began working at LKT in August 2019.
For me, the best part about working as a translator is that I am constantly learning new things – about my mother tongue, about the foreign languages I speak, and about the technical areas I work in. Translation is a constant intellectual and creative challenge, which is part of what makes it so rewarding.
In my spare time, I enjoy singing, running, yoga, art, and dreaming of getting a puppy.
