Quality
Although all translation projects are different, they share a common requirement for quality. Translation is a means of communication and it is essential that customers have confidence in the quality of the translator they use.
- Quality control and quality assurance: We pride ourselves on the quality of our work.
A standard project workflow is adopted for all projects. We have a set of in-
house checklists, work instructions and procedures for quality assurance purposes, written with ISO 17100 compliance in mind. - Expertise: We recruit only the very best people to our team. During projects, our team members continually carry out research into the specialist areas in which they are working. We focus on specific fields of commerce and industry in order to ensure maximum quality.
- Resources: We use a variety of resources ranging from industry-
specific glossaries and specialist dictionaries to translation memory software to ensure that the translations we produce are of the highest possible quality.

In today's global marketplace, both customers and service providers are constantly
looking for ways to improve efficiency and profitability. In the translation industry,
this is achieved through the use of computer-
Translation memory tools operate on the principle of a memory. They "remember" text and store it, usually in a database, for retrieval and use in future documents. In particular, they can offer significant benefits in technical documents, which are often highly repetitive. If a sentence translated previously appears again in a new document, the software will automatically insert the translation without the need for translator intervention. The software is also able to offer "partial matches" on a percentage basis, so if part of a sentence appears again it will offer its "closest match". This both speeds up the translation process and reduces its cost. In addition, it ensures quality and consistency.
Both customers and translators are able to share the considerable advantages offered by translation memory tools.
Translation memory tools offer practical advantages too. For example, SGML, HTML and XML files can be edited directly with all tags and codes remaining intact.
